Voices of WWI
Elizabeth Baker (Storyteller) came into school on Wednesday 6th November 2019 to work with Year 5.
Children heard stories of real people and their experiences during WWI including a soldier from the trenches.
During the session children made poppies out of clay which is the symbol for remembrance.
Poppies will be painted and made into an art canvas for school to be used in years to come to remember the fallen of all wars over the last 100 years.
