A huge thank you from our school’s council for respecting our wishes and not parking outside the school gates on Beechfield Drive. It has become much safer and parking there has reduced considerably. Long may it continue for the safety of all.

Fundraisers for CAFOD
During Lent we will be supporting CAFOD (Christian aid for overseas development).There are a number of fundraising events chosen by our Schools Council. Donations can be very small and are optional, as little or much as you can afford. Next Friday is wear red day (red nose optional)
January – School, February- Mr Duffy won £50, well done. Numbers are still available from the office.
The council has a number of vacant sites around Hartlepool that require school crossing patrol officers. World book day
Thank you for your great efforts in dressing the children so well for our wonderful celebrations of books. It was great fun. We do understand that ‘bought’ costumes are very expensive and would encourage parents to make costumes or bring in props. We have lots of ideas and some spare costumes in school, so if you are stuck please let us know. We do not want the expense to spoil the fun.
1st April and 2nd April for years 1 to 6. Letters have gone out please contact the office or see your teacher for an appointment. Reception parents evening is on Mon 25th March and Tuesday 26th March to 5.30pm
Y5 Residential meeting
A meeting will be held on Wednesday 3rd April at 6pm for all children attending the Y5 residential. It is important that all parents attend for permission slips and arrangements etc. Thank you
Holidays and attendance
Holidays have risen recently and school attendance is being affected considerably. Our target is 96% the national average. Please try to take holidays in the 13 weeks of school holidays which occur each year. Many thanks. Attendance to date is below, classes should be at 95.5% or above:
