Well done to our amazing Y3 tennis team that participated in a tournament at EMS coming third overall but showing great teamwork during the event. Our Y3 girls also took part in a dance workshop at EMS and worked with the schools dance students to come up with their very own routine. Our year 5/6 football team made it through to the HSFA final, which will take place at Victoria park home of HUFC, it is a huge achievement for the children to reach a final at this ground 2 years in a row. Well done everyone!
Next term we will focus again on fitness and the importance of exercise and hobbies in our lives for a healthy body but also a healthy mind. Exercise and fresh air improves our mood and outlook and helps to combat stress. Each Friday the children can wear sports clothes for Fitness Friday and complete a weekly challenge including a weekly mile. Our ‘wake up shake up’ sessions will begin again each morning so please join in!
Our winner this month was Mrs Taylor with number 92
